Keeping track of working time outside the truck
As soon as your card is out of the tachograph, nobody counts your time any more. Yet you have to account for that time as soon as you put the card back in. Anyone who installs, does crane work, builds up or assembles spends half a day on that, and has to reconstruct it from memory at the end.
A full mobile tachograph
VYS Mobile Tacho is more than an entry screen. It is a mobile tachograph for your time and your activities outside the vehicle: you set the counter to rest, other work or availability, and the app records how long you are busy with it.

And after that into the tachograph in one go
When you put the card back in, the tachograph asks for the missing time. The app already has that time and puts the blocks ready in the manual entry. You check and send.
Are you driving another vehicle?
If the phone with the tachograph connection is in the vehicle and you record your hours on your own phone, you transfer those hours with a QR code. One-off, the time only, and no operation goes with it: the other phone cannot control your tachograph.
For VDO only
Manual entry and ejecting from a distance only work with a VDO tachograph with Bluetooth. On a Stoneridge that is not possible, and we would rather say so honestly.
